This steel barge was originally designed to transport a litte digger and a 6 cubic meter container through narrow Dutch canals to little islands where maintenance work was needed. It's not meant to use as a barge from which you actively use the digger, just transport.

The hull is made from 5mm steel plating with full height frames and girders. It can be outfitted with spudpoles and a ramp. The beam of the vessel is limited and below width restriction for roadtransport. Also the shape of the hull is slightly tapered which makes it easy to stack in a stable way if you would have multiple boats to transport or store.
