Powered by twin 480Hp diesel engines and Hamilton 322 jet units the AMF 1170 QRV RIB has a top speed of 40 knots and a cruise speed of 26-28 knots. A very soft riding hull with awesome performance! Interior layout can be customised if required. Built by AMF Boats

This robust aluminium RIB is suitable for Coastguard, search and rescue (SAR), Pilot vessel, Police vessel, firefighting, military or high speed pleasure cruising boat.

This type of Rescue Vessel is used by the following Coastguard units in New Zealand:
- Hawkes Bay Coastguard
- Taranaki Coastguard
